  10.   2 c. Flour                  12 dates or 1 c Raisins              
  11.   1 egg, beaten               1/4 melted butter                    
  12.   5 tsp baking powder         1/2 tsp. salt                        
  13.   1/4 c. sugar                1/2 c. nutmeats                      
  14.   1 c. milk

  16.  Sift dry ingredients together in bowl.  Combine egg and milk and add
  17.  with butter and dates to mixture.  Stir only till all flour is
  18.  dampened.  Pour into well oiled muffin tins and bake at 425 degrees
  19.  for 25 minutes
